March for Babies

I am a month away from our local March for Babies walk. I am happy to say that I am half way to my goal. I have a month to raise another hundred dollars. Please consider donating even if it’s just $5. It doesn’t have to be a lot.

The March of Dimes works to understand and prevent the problems that threaten our babies and supports local programs that help women have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. But The March of Dimes goes so far beyond that.  March of Dimes is known for their research for birth defects and premature birth, but that is just the tip of the iceberg in what the March of Dimes researches. They research childhood cancer, miscarriages, down syndrome, infertility, brain development, SIDS, autism, seizures, still birth and that is just a few of the many things they research. They research so much in hopes that maybe there is something a women can take when she is pregnant that can prevent a disease we may develop later in life.

My family and I want to help the March of Dimes, so on May 1st we will walk together for Babies. Please consider helping as well. Together we can do so much more. When you sponsor me in the March for Babies, you make a difference in the lives of babies and their families locally and across the country.

You can make a donation by clicking on my badge on the right hand side of my blog or going to our team page Belle’s Butterflies. Any amount you can give will mean a lot.
