Toddler Talk Thursday - A Letter to Belle

This weeks topic for Toddler Talk Thursday is to write a letter to your toddler as they are today.


Isabelle,

This week has been a crazy week for you. You developed a little cold over the weekend that has been keeping you from sleeping and eating. Monday night you just wouldn't sleep in your crib so you slept with mommy in mommy and daddy's bed. Sweat heart, I love you but your a bed hug and a blanket stealer. You're lucky you are so cute!

You and mommy did not get much sleep Monday night so we stayed home on Tuesday. It was a rough day. We were both tired, you still did not feel well and you would not eat. I tired everything and the only thing your ended up eating all day was jello and some cheerios. You're still not eating all that great but at least you are eating more then just cheerios.

Last night, we went over to Grandma's house. You love going over there and playing with Grandma. While we were there we booked our first family vacation and your first trip to Disney World. Isabelle, you will be celebrating your second birthday in Disney with mommy, daddy, and grandma. I am so excited for this trip and can not wait to share the fun of Disney World with you.

You are feeling better today. No more wheezing when you breathe. You slept pretty well the last couple nights as well. You still have that nasty cough, and by the sounds of it, it's going to stick around for a few more days.

You are getting so big Isabelle. I swear every morning when I pick you up, you feel heavier to me. Slow down little one! Take you're time growing. You're only this little for a short time and mommy doesn't want it to fly by. You learned a new sign this week. You added "done" to your sign language vocabulary. I thought it was a fluke, but you do it at all the appropriate times, and even started doing it when we ask if you are done or want more. You also say vroom when playing with cars and it is the cutest thing ever.

You are such a smart little girl, and mommy and daddy love you so much!
