Last Friday we took Belle to her first Lawn Fete. When we got there we ran into my mom and my nephew. So we walked around with them and watched Nicky ride the rides. He had a blast on them and Belle had a blast watching him.

Nicky on the swings. He loved them.
She was too little this year to do anything. But we wanted to try the Duck Pond game with her. It seemed simple. Let her pick out 2 ducks and get her prize. She had no interest in grabbing the ducks. So the lady running the game let her choose her prizes. She got a rubber ducky and a ball. She loves playing with her ball so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

They were calling for thunderstorms all night. We didn't have one drop of rain after 5:30. It turned out to be a really good night. We left there around 9:00. As we were walking back to the car I was laughing with the Hubs. It's so funny, I have been going there for years and how much the experience has changed since I first started going. I started going when I was in high school where all we did was stand around in groups and walked around the whole carnival over and over again. Then when I was old enough to go in the beer tent. And now with my daughter where we actually do the games and stuff.
I'm Angela, a twenty something mother, wife, and a bit of a Disney Freak. Married to an amazingly wonderful man, and mommy to Isabelle born 10/3/09 and baby girl #2 due June 2013. I love my life and am just trying to find my way through mommyhood with a side of Disney fun to go with it all.
