So Monday morning the Hubs picked up a few hours of time and a half. So it was just me and Belle. I was in the kitchen getting her waffle ready when she followed me in. Normally we don't allow her into the kitchen. But she wasn't trying to get into anything. She was just sitting on my feet waiting. I hear her say "uh oh" which means she dropped her soothie. I look down and sure enough she dropped it and it rolled across the kitchen. Lucky for me I just swept the kitchen floor. She looks up at me and I told her to go get it. So she went off the get it.
And yes my child says uh oh when she drops things. I will have to tell the uh oh sneeze story at some point to cause it was sooo cute!
Any ways, so I continue cutting up her waffle when I realize, it was surprisingly quiet. That's when I remember where the soothie rolled. Right to the cat food.
Yup, my child ate cat food this past weekend.
I then proceeded to remove 3 pieces of cat food from her mouth. As I was picking her up she popped in another piece that had stowed away in her tiny little hand. After I dug that one out and found another piece in the other hand she began to scream at me.
Apparently I took food out of her mouth.
Her waffle was ready so I plopped her in the high chair and gave her her breakfast. She was obviously hungry. Nope, the waffle with the fruit topping ended up on my floor.
Apparently my child thinks she's a cat.
