Mommy and Belle Weekend

I don't have much to write about today. It was just me and Belle over the weekend. The Hubs had to work all weekend. Same with next. At least Saturday he will be done at 1 so we will have the afternoon together.

Friday night the Bug had a luau on the playground. I figured we pay enough to be there we might as well take her. Maybe meet some of the parents. Although the only babies that were there had older siblings. I brought my mom with me since the Hubs was working. We talked with some of the teachers, although her teacher is on vacation so she wasn't there. And we talked with the director a bit. I love it that they all adore Belle there. She is one of the favorites. Well how couldn't you love her. She is so so happy and always smiley!!

After the luau I took her to see daddy at work. She was so good. So I bought her a new toy that night too.

We had a good weekend just her and I. After this week we have a couple fun things planned. The hubs and I have tickets to a local amusement park. So since I had next Monday and Tuesday off I talked the Hubs into taking Monday off and were going to head to the park. Were going to be bad parents and take Belle to the Bug for the afternoon. Then grandma is going to pick her up. We are paying for the day if she is there or not. And honestly the Hubs and I need a day. I honestly can't remember the last time we had time just the 2 of us. So it will be fun.

Then the county fair starts next week. We haven't decided when were going but I think we are leaning towards Friday night after work. It will be tough with Belle eating but she is getting to good on table food and holding her own bottles that we may just be able to feed her there.

We also may go to the fair 2 days. It's huge and we may not be able to hit all the buildings and exhibits. So we will see how it goes.

I can not believe that it is August 2nd. Where is this summer going? And really, where has this past year gone??? Belle is going to be 10 months tomorrow. 10 months! Just 2 months until her birthday. We really need to get moving on her party now. I don't want to think about it at all.
