Happy 10 Months Isabelle!

Isabelle is 10 months today. 10 months. Double digits. 2 months from her 1st birthday. When did this happen? When did my tiny little sleepy newborn turning into a babbling, laughing, crawling 10 month old?

I can't believe that it is August and the summer is almost over. I can't believe that my baby is getting so big and soon won't be a baby anymore. She will be a toddler.

She has had such a big month. She is crawling like crazy all over the living room. She chases her ball and JD all over the house. She loves going from her toys to the couch to stand up and back again. Yup she is pulling herself up on everything. Her favorite is to stand in the middle of the floor and stand up on all 4 with her butt waving in the air. And when I tell her to sit she's going to fall, she lands on her butt looks at me and laughs. My little dare devil she is.

Her favorite thing to get into now? Daddy's Xbox. Some day he will move it and hide all the cords like I have asked numerous times (hint hint Hubs). Right now the controllers are under her swing (she has a new love for the swing too) and she crawls under it to grab them. And then turns on the xbox by pushing just the right button.

We have our first tooth. It broke through a couple of weeks ago. And honestly I had no clue it was coming in. I have been blaming every cry for months on teething and nothing has happened. And then one Saturday evening I decided to do my normal check. I was very surprised to feel her sharp little tooth sticking out of her gum. I didn't think I was going to feel anything. She has been fine all day, then at night during her normal I'm not going to sleep game, I felt like she might be in some pain. So we have given her some tylenol a couple of nights. It's still not fully through but you can see it. And every time I feel for more, she bites me with it. Thanks kid!

Isabelle loves food. Everything we have given her she eats. I am so proud of her and thankful that she is not picky. We are in between purees and table foods right now and she has no problem doing both. I am the luckiest mommy in the world to have this beautiful, happy, easy going baby. Here is a list of what she is eating:

Pancakes
Waffles
Cheerios
French toast
Eggs
Grilled Cheese
Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
Chicken nuggets
Chicken
Potatoes
Pierogies
Green Beans
Carrots
Peas
Broccoli
Watermelon
Pineapple
We tried raspberries, those she actually didn't care for at all. But I might try again. I am sure there is much more and I can't remember it all.

She is such an amazing little girl. I love watching her learn and watching her play. Her new favorite game is playing ball with mommy, and daddy even played with us last night. We would toss the ball to each other and roll it over to her. She gets so excited. She discovered her shadow last weekend. So cute! And she loves crawling after us when we get up. I was putting laundry away while she was playing and followed me into her room. She was so excited to see me and that she crawled all the way to her room (big journey for a little girl!). It was adorable!

I am sad that in just 2 months we will be celebrating my baby's 1st birthday and sad that her first year will be over. Most of her firsts will have come and gone. But I can not wait for what is ahead. I am hoping that our December trip works out and that we will have our first family vacation!

I will post her 10 month pictures tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday.

Happy 10 months baby girl! Mommy loves you!

  2. What a beautiful baby girl. Happy Birthday!

I wish my oldest was eating such a variety when he was her age. He was the pickiest baby ever.

I hoped over from Twee Poppets.
